Complementary feed from Salmon skin – pigtails
Salmon skin has a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 (3,7%), Omega-6 (4,0%) and Omega-9 (12,1%). Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for immune disorders, cardiovascular diseases, vision problems, diabetes mellitus, overweight and underweight, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, to maintain the correct balance of fatty acids and regulate the basic physiological processes in the body, reduce concentration of cholesterol in blood, accelerate the healing of wounds, scars. Polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 improve the structure of the skin and coat, increase the digestibility of vitamins A and E, promote the transmission of nerve impulses and help cope with inflammatory processes.
We use the skin of Salmon caught in the Barents and North Seas. Skin processing is done manually. Special ovens and a drying mode allow saving 70% -80% of the beneficial substances and aromas contained in the skin of the fish.
Due to the rough structure, natural Salmon skin complementary feed replaces tooth brushing, removes plaque and stone, massages the gums. In addition, the dried fish skin supplement is great for puppies during teething!
